It was an awesome show! The set began and was a tribute to honor their friend, Scott Hutchison who sadly passed away; Benjamin Gibbard declared this set is dedicated to Scott. Their hour-long set of their classics from the past decade was just what the crowd needed to finish their concert high. Florence + the Machine will make their return to The Barclays Center after playing the same venue last week on their tour. The event showcased bands that the station has been playing in heavy rotation over the past several months. I hope that if they come back in a year or so they'll play at Express Live.

They had a good mix of songs from all their albums, which was surprising. Before he took the stage, a backstage video featuring him drawing a fish for his late bandmate Chester Bennington played on the screens, and toward the end of his performance, Shinoda took a moment to pay tribute to Bennington, who passed away in July 2017. The night, which featured eight acts over the course of five hours, kicked off with a brief set by indie pop trio , who made the most of the 15 minutes allotted them as fans trickled in to the Barclays Center. Headliners include Muse, Florence + the Machine, Death Cab For Cutie, Foster The People, Bastille, Chvrches and more. Still high on hype and excitement!!! However, it was the co-headliner magic that made the night so seamless.

The band crushed through an 8 song set that had some fans in a trance and most definitely slowed the tempo of the night down. The band recently announced their 2019 North American tour and what better way to warm up for it then with a sold-out Christmas show. Thank you for coming Foster The People! What an epic stack of artists for this special one-night-only event! Muse also has a new release on its way, their eighth studio album titled Simulation Theory which is expected to drop November 9. He filled his set with a mix of mashups and covers, but there was one real moment that stood out towards the end. Side note: The Newport doesn't have the best sound quality.

Shinoda who released his solo album Post Traumatic this past June. The band kept the crowd energized when frontman Dan went through the crowd on the floor, stopping to sing in certain sections with thousands of fans surrounding him. The indie group has been on an all-time high since releasing this album. Death Cab For Cutie followed suit with a near-flawless performance, keeping us all on our toes with songs from throughout their discography even in such a short time frame. They, too, just finished playing Brooklyn with two sold-out shows at Kings Theater.

The in Brooklyn was filled with alternative rock fans from the New York Metro Area on Thursday who were all there to catch a handful of headline-worthy artists playing Radio. This year shows taking place in Brooklyn, San Francisco, and San Diego have grown from what started as a small acoustic show to taking over large arenas and bringing the best acts in the alternative music scene to larger-scale markets. Death Cab for Cutie also found themselves in New York City in support of their latest album, Thank You For Today , which dropped in August. Make sure you catch these guys on the road in 2019! The brothers took to the stage with their high energy pop dance sound and had the entire crowd dancing along. And while technically it's when the station's debut filled a six-year alt-rock radio void in New York City, the show -- which was presented in partnership with Radio. Florence practically floated across the stage barefoot in her light green dress like a true goddess.

Definitely a fun experience, especially with the visual effects. The bulk of their music was popular over a decade ago, so it was so surreal to see that the crowd remembered the lyrics. S, announced back in October they would be bringing their Not So Silent Night to New York City. During the tribute, the entire arena joined in unison and waved their flashlights on their phones back and forth while singing the lyrics. We think we can speak for the whole tri-state region when we say how thankful we are for Radio.

The members came out in futuristic jackets, glasses, and guitars that all lit up in bright colors. But the show was great! A great night of someB of my favorite artists and some of my new ones complete with some great people and some extra fun! Ok, ok, now back to the show. It was nice to see some older ones, as well as their second and most recent albums. Death Cab For Cutie recently put out a brand new album called Thank You For Today. They jumped when she jumped, they sang along, they hung on every word and cheered as she ran the length of the stage. Can we take a moment? They set the energy level extremely high for the rest of the acts during their fifteen minute set, in which they played three of their most up-beat songs.

We hope to see you next year! After waiting 5 years, I was so excited to finally see them in concert. Death Cab For Cutie Take Their Time To Play Their Greatest Hits Death Cab For Cutie released a new album earlier this year with Thank You for Today, but they make sure to remind fans of some of their wonderful material from the early years with their performance. The arena was nearly completely filled with fans who were all there to support all, if not a select few of their favorite artists for the end-of-the-week concert, which surprisingly ran without a single hitch for having so many moving parts. See you next time you come to the land down under in Sydney!. In honor of the 15 th anniversary of Transatlanticism, they played the album in full at their Chicago show.

Great crowd, electric vibrant atmosphere, excellent choice of songs knew pretty much all of them so I could sing to them and the boys were in top form! All the songs they chose to perform were very energetic. The group busted through five songs in their 20-minute time slot, wasting no time at all. At The Disco or The 1975? The show followed an intimate secret set Florence performed early this summer in Greenpoint to fans from Spotify Premium a few days before her album released. Mike hyped the crowd up like no other. Props to everyone responsible for those quick changes in between sets. The band has been on the road touring in support of their latest album High As Hope which was released on June 29th of this year and has been met with praise from critics and fans alike.
